i finally got a chance to work on the flares again, with so many projects im helping people on ,my car gets put off sometimes.Im trying to get them done and in primer by tomorrow because i have an old dodge with a hemi coming in for an engine rebuild.
Lookin' great Pat! At first glance I thought surely he's not working outside. Thought that was snow all over the car then I remembered where all the dust comes from. :D That's going to be an awesome car.
Is that the best you can do? Flares on a sports car? Who in thier right mind put flares on a sports car? Next thing you know you will be lowering the car and go road racing. :D :D :D By the way when do you have time to work on your car when mine is all apart? :jester
I need flares on mine too and just getting them here is a PITA. Groovy, there's a company in Germany that sells flares, so maybe if you like them you could get them there cheaper. The company is called vondracek. http://www.otp-vondracek.de/Corvette.html
I don't want their flares tho, they are butt ugly IMO. I never really liked the mudflap designs but theirs are just too awkward, they don't blend in, they look too much like a last minute addition...but as I said, maybe it can help you out
As for shipping them from the US, shipping 4 flares becomes a costly operation. I've got matte and resin in huge quantities so I will take a shot at making my own first.
Thanks TT, I've been to their ( ) site before, they seem to have lot of last minute "add-ons" there  I'll be going to the US in January to pick up lots of parts I may need in the future and I might get set of flairs while there.
