Any details on the motor. If it wasn't so cold out there I would be out there working on mine right now too.

All I know is, its a stock replacement 350.

I checked the casting numbers on the heads, and it came off a DZ302 :hurray: :hurray:

Awesome man, did you go with the 268 cam?, I really liked it in my 327.

Give us the details again in the new motor.

Hi Corey,

Good luck with all that stuff... like I said you may want to throw in a new rear main seal. It was replaced once but still had a very minor leak.

The weather around here was miserable last night. Windy and raining. Corey took a 3 hour trek down here nonetheless. Loading that engine into the back of Coreys SUV was wild! But we shoe-horned it in there. Also managed to get a tranny across the backseat too.

Its not the freshest engine, but I'm glad it found a good home in another Corvette for the time being. Corey is a great guy and I hope he gets everything going soon.

Default Christmas Came EARLY!!!

F I N A L L Y!!!!!

Alright. The blue shark might come back to life. Perfect timing also. WINTER is the time to wrench and situate things.

I hope it works out ok for you. Don't smack talk 'til it's IN and established!! It's better that way.

Cory sorry I wasn't in town today. I ended up working on the 75 in New Haven. Good luck with your project.

I guess this is the tool you used most to wedge the engine into that SUV:

That's a great X-mas present

I found a couple of things that didnt seem right, so I pulled it back out and I'm going to refresh the top end (new pushrods, lifters, and give it a valve job)
