That's how I do it, I also have the balancer marked at 90deg all the way around makes it a snap to do. The only thing I don't understand is this statement:
"We can lash the valves on an engine stand and never have to readjust them once run in the car." does this apply to solid lifters ? :D
That procedure is exacly what I do. Except I use a feeler gage to determine 0 lash. I set a .002 feeler between the rocker and valve stem. Tighten the poly lock till all play gone...then 1/4 turn more. Eliminates the push rod "twist" and rocker arm "bounce" error. :cheers:
