Default Another body mount question

I'm changing the body mounts and I have all 8 bolts removed and the body is still tight to the frame. I disconnected the steering joint and 2 bolts under the radiator support. Is there connections in the front and back that I have missed? I have looked at the front and rear bumper supports and they look like they may have to be removed. Does the front and rear bumper have to come off to access these brackets? I did a search in the archives and didn't see any reference to the bumpers. What a job getting the bolts out of those mounts. Thanks for any advice.

Here's a link to a great page by Redwingvette http://hometown.aol.com/bmclau5079/page5.html with a full list of what needs to be removed to lift the body.

Thanks Smokehouse. I was hoping that someone would come through. I did a search but did not see these. When I get done I will also help the next person with this job and my experiences. Thanks again. Tom

Tom, There are 4 bolts that hold the front crossbar to the frame on each side. The end brackets have to come off before you can get to 2 of them. I am not sure what you need to do for the rea but you will need to have it loose as well. Try removing the radiator support bolts loacated inside the front wheel wells see you aren't picking the body all the way off. Leaving the mount bolts in a little and changing them 1 at a time may make it easier to locate as you replace the mounts. Let us know how you make out.
