What is this ???
I found this in a dash of a 1969 Corvette. Anyone have an idea what it is ? Its related to the stereo, looks like two convetors attached to a huge case. Maybe ia higher power amplifier ?
This is the plug that does not resemble anything else I have seen.

So this would have been hooked up to a regular factory stereo radio and had a higher power output ? I have seen the convector units that are made of the larger heat sink, are those the later renditions of this unit ?
