I'm running Super Comps on my fast burns right now. Shortly I'm about to make a transmission change and I'm installing a set of hooker side pipes then.
Older Than Dirt: It's not the ports themselves that are the issue, it's the location of the ports relative to something that doesn't move. (ie the frame where the sidepipes mount.) SDPC told me that the Vortec and L98 (ZZ4) heads have the standard exhaust port locations, so that would mean that they would work with side exhaust. The tech didn't confirm that the Fastburn heads have raised ports, so I'm still searching.
Stoge: Depends on which hood you have. I have a long L-88 hood, so clearance isn't an issue. I'm sure there are a ton of threads regarding which intakes can fit under a smallblock hood.

Re: ZZ383.... it's available!! (Corvette_fetish)
They say in the blurb about the fast burn heads that if you install a .540 lift roller cam and a single plane you can get 500hp out of it......
Just a thought. But it looks like a good buy
GM’s testing was completed using a GM single plane intake, P/N 12496822 and a 750 CFM Demon carburetor with mechanical secondaries. Test header specs are: 13/4" primaries, 33 inches long with a 4-inch collectors. GM dual plane intake P/N 12366573 may be used for hood clearance on the ZZ383/425, but it results in a decrease in peak horsepower of approximately 15-20 horsepower.
