Default Kiesler shipped yesterday! i think...

well guys, you were right...if you want your Kiesler...
STAY AFTER THEM!
PESTER THEM!

as my dec 1 shipped date came close i stayed in touch with them...
for the 2 weeks prior, i emailed them and called them several times to confirm that they were on schedule and that my ship date still stood...

EVERY time i was assured that they were on schedule and that my ship date stood...
until 2 days prior...
then they started telling me that they were behind schedule and i was to expect a delay...WTF!

EXCUSE ME???
you were on shedule till two days prior to my ship date?
i then made calls and emails that bordered on unfriendly...
two days later (yesterday) i am told that it has been shipped...
in this case, the old saying IS true...
"the squeeky wheel gets the grease!"

i understand thier dilema...
they are getting many more orders than they ever expected and are suffering "growing pains"...
i can understand that as my business instantly doubled a couple of weeks ago as my competitor folded to move back north...
instantly my business doubled...

what i DONT understand however is not being straight, up front about it instead of :bs ing people...
that is something i try very hard NOT to do and we are currently booked about a month or more on signs ordered! normaly the wait is 1-1/2 to 2 weeks...

they seem like nice folks and are trying hard to overcome their reputation concerning this and i wish them luck as i think they have a great future in the business as they have a wonderful product...

ill keep yall posted...

After pestering them again this week, my new ship date is Dec. 8. My last firm ship date was Nov. 17. I ordered Aug. 14. I would be curious if there is anyone out there that ordered after Aug 14, and has already received their tranny.

Signguy, did they give you any discount for making you wait?

Question: Why don't you guys purchase generic TKO's? They're cheaper. Just wondering.

Les

If we just bought generic TKO's then we wouldn't have all the fun of ranting here on the Forum. I went with Keisler for their package deal, and the shifter modification to the correct location.
