paint bubbles???

paint bubbles???
on my '73 there were bubbles in the paint on the roof above the rear window, had it repinted they came back after a year or so, any suggestions,

Depending on how the paint was removed, there may be paint stripper residue trapped under the paint.
My '77 was repainted about 10 years ago when my step dad owned it. My paint is bubbled/pimpled from trapped stripper. :rolleyes:
The exposed/cleaned fiberglass has to "breathe" , ie. vapors must evoporate before being repainted.
