They're definitely slow to ship, but the product is worth the wait.

Let me know if you get sick of waiting, I'll sell my new, never used TKO Keisler kit for $500 less than their price. I've decided to go with a 4.11 12-bolt rear from Tom's, so I won't be running the TKO (gears are the wrong ratios).

71'AirStrike - welcome to the club. I ordered Aug 14 (45 days before Signguy) and am still waiting. My unit is supposed to be shipped this week. We will see. Also told them since I had been waiting so long that I expected the Carlisle price.

well...all i can tell you guys is "the squeeky wheel gets the grease"...
about a week or two before my proposed ship date i started calling and emailing every few days and at times i was pissed and bordered on being rude...
but...hey...it worked... :D
i also am wondering if we all had the same financial situation...
i paid for mine in full...and i played that angle too...
"youve got $3000 of MY money and i expect this and that...etc...
did yall pay in full or put a deposit down?

either way...it boils down to honesty...
i can understand a company having production problems if overwelmed by unexpected sales but be honest with the people about it for crying out loud!
if its gonna be 15 or 20 weeks because you have a great product and a lot of people are buying them...fine...but tell me that...dont lead me on and lie to me...
good luck you guys and keep us posted...
i feel bad because i probably have one of your tranys... :grouphug:
that being said...heres the link to mine... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=707282

yea I called them and explained to them wating for 16 weeks is not cool. they claimed that Pat put my tranny "ON the board" and the ship date is the 15 of dec.
Im not a big fan of "the squeeky wheel gets the greese". but it seems that is the only thing that company listens to.

SIGNGUY: yes you probally did get my tranny. Ill let you put in my tranny intoyour car to see of it works. THEN ill expect rental fee. :D

Signguy, I've been wondering about the financial situation also. They never mentioned payment in advance, just wanted my credit card number. They almost immediately debited my account for $2000. I am anxiously awaiting to see what the final billing will be before the poopie hits the fan.

Sorry to hear of the problems guys. They were at Carlisle and seemed to very busy. But $3,000 will buy a lot of gas using my old Muncie. If you can't get the tranny when you already paid for it what happens if you need warranty service?

you bring up a valad point. my GUT feeling is that this an old shop with a few good'ol boys doing honest hard work.
someone said "hey make one for the c3"
..and it took off like gangbusters.
Im WAG-ing but I think this shop went from 5 trannys a month (of the c3 flavor) to 30. thats a 6 times increase that will only last a short while. It takes a lot of money to increase your production ability by that much.

I think (hope?) that when the inrush dies down they will be able to do warntee suport the right way.

I came within a gnats' butt of buying a TKO (not Keisler) until I found a brand new ROD 6spd locally at a super deal. I bought the ROD! :yesnod:

We ordered our 5-spd the first week of Nov. and were told it would be 8-10 wks. I emailed them around Thanksgiving and asked for an approx ship date and they responded with Jan. 19th.

To my surprise, UPS pulled up yesterday with it! :hurray:

Now I'm busy reading the install instructions.

I'd check in with them again.

I hear ya. I just spoke with Keisler and they told me my "tentative" ship date is now February 23 and there are 162 orders in front of mine. (I ordered on November 19). :mad

On top of this, I have opportunity to buy one brand new, in the box, from a forum member, install it and be driving my car before the new year, but can't cancel my order without losing my deposit. :cry
