Headlight assemblies - greased or dry?
I'm tearing them down and cleaning / painting / coating everything. All the moving parts have plastic bushings, and after 24 years there is no sign of grease or even if there ever was any. Anybody know if there is supposed to be some around the various joints? Seems like a good idea, but on the other hand it may also attract dirt and gum things up.

When I rebuilt my headlight assemblies I made up SS hinge pins to replace the stock steel pins and lightly coated the steel parts with never seize.The tapped holes in the pot metal were stripped and broken. I used some muggy weld pot metal solder to repair.
