Black book states that in 1982, out of the total yearly production, 2,357 were painted black, and a total of 1,710 were made with the camel interior. Mine is black with camel. Is there any way to find out how many of this combo were produced?
This detailed information is difficult to obtain for current cars. You have to find someone who has a "friend" with access. For older cars, I would expect this information, if it exists, is buried in the GM archives.
Of the 25407 cars built in 1982, 14157 had exterior colors that did not allow the camel interior. That means that of the remaining 11250 cars, 15.2% had camel interiors (1710 total camel).
If the camel color was distributed uniformly over the remaining cars then there would be about 360 Black/Camel cars (15% of 2357). This is of course just a very rough estimate.
