Seat Cover Disaster!!!!
I bought Corvette America comfortweave seat covers, buns, hardware and the instalation kit for my 72. Took the set up to a local trim shop....unable to install,,,buns too big. Took to another trim shop who buys from CA and installs Vette interiors...same thing.
A couple of phone calle to CA and now my seats, buns and new covers are in transit to CA in Pennsylvania for inspection. The seat foam was 2" higher and 2.5" longer on the bottoms and about the same on the backs. Not only is it bigger, but a much more dense foam then the GM stuff. After much heating and pulling unable to instal bottoms and backs.
What seemd like a reasonable project has turned out to be a 6 week ordeal (and still not done) and alot of money in freight for the parts, coming and going, now in the entire seats!
Nor sure how this will end up but will keep everyone informed. I feel like if the foam is wrong CA owes me big time! :mad
Mark :boxing
If the foam is different, CA should put the seat covers on some other foams that fit, and send them back to you finished, ready to install. Now that would be good customer service and would warrant your return business.
Shipping should be 50/50 if CA does the cover/foam install for you IMHO.
Then CA should kick azz on the mfgr of the foams, even if it is themselves.

I had the exact same problem and I think the supplier was CA, but not sure ....some years ago, all I did was use the original foam and backed it up a bit with some cushion stuffing material from a local yard good store...worked fine for the last 8 years....just now put on a set of covers, and used yet again the same foam, same trick....look a but loose, but not so bad, but then again I need the headroom....
