Got My O-Ring Calipers Yesterday!!
Hey folks, just wanted to tell somebody that I got my Precision Engineering O-Ring calipers yesterday. I heard the UPS truck across the street at 8pm last night, and I was peeking out my window shades for 5 minutes waiting to see if he'd pull up to my house, and he did! I cracked open the box and found 4 calipers, and a set of stainless steel braided brake lines. These calipers are sweet! When I took my old calipers off, I could wiggle the pistons on the rear calipers with my fingers tremendously! We're talking about a 1/4" side to side! These O-Ring calipers, no movement at all. New pistons, and they used my old calipers for the conversion. I got all 4 calipers, all mounting hardware and stainless steel braided brake lines for $340 shipped to my door. http://www.fixvetteparts.com these guys are top notch! Congrats on the new o-ring calipers. You will notice a difference in pedal feel the first time you use the brakes. :thumbs:
