After turning my hands bloody, breaking wires, and defoliating the schrubbery with my language trying to install another TA pivot bolt, I broke the code. This may be common knowledge, so forgive me if I'm behind the times.
I used a flat pry bar, (used for removing trim in the shape of a "7", 2" wide and about a foot long) available for $3 at Home Depot. The relatively straight end is perfect for getting the bolt through the bushings, then the 90 degree bend works great for pushing the bolt behind the brake lines the last inch or two through the opposite end of the frame.
After struggling for hours juggling the weight and alignement, the procedure with the pry bar took 2 minutes.
