Anybody have this intake
Holley 300-36 Street dominator
Curious if anybody has one and if they make it fit. I know it will need a drop base. Its .02" taller in the back and .06" taller in the front than my Weiand 7546. I think I may need to get a shorter top plate to my intake manifold, cause its touching the hood.

Re: Anybody have this intake (Guru_4_hire)
I have an old Street Dominator. It's a single plane and about 1.25 inches higher than a stock SB manifold. I'm using a L-88/LT-1 drop base and a 3 inch element.

Re: Anybody have this intake (Guru_4_hire)
GM's ZZ-4 intake is supposed to be a take-off of the early LT-1 only a little lower
This manifold is used on all ZZ series 350 HO engines and also can be used on all small-block Chevrolet's thru 1986. This aluminum manifold produces the same horsepower as the previous high-rise design, but provides increased hood clearance and more versatility. It has a dual-pattern flange that can accommodate both standard-flange Holley and spread-bore Quadrajet four-barrel carburetors. This manifold has provisions for all late-model accessory brackets, EGR (exhaust gas recirculation), and an integral hot air choke. A heat shield can be mounted underneath the manifold to prevent coking when EGR is used.
Technical Note: This manifold carburetor flange is approximately 1 /2 " lower than the LT1 manifold.
