Started on the front suspension yesterday
Some of you will recall the dumbazz thread from a few days ago. if not, I put cut 460 springs in my 69 last winter but kept the 1" spacer in the bottom of the a arm. I started working on it yesterday, Managed to get the drivers side apart in 15 minutes, pulled the spacer out and thats where I stopped. I couldnt get the spring back into place :banghead:
I really dont want to separate the ball joint again but it looks like I might have to. I'll keep you updated with pics today

I think your taking this front suspension a little personal now... When a woman says go down on her thats not what she means... :jester
You should also try and get some sleep it may help the thinking process out there in the cold garage.
Anyways think of it this way by the time your done you'll be a front end specialist and you can come down here and rebuild mine for me... hehe

No wonder your front end sat so high.
You're young, you can sleep when you're dead. Now get back out in the garage. :D

How do you install the spring compressor with the spring still in the car? Normally the 460 springs and especially one cut doesn't need a spring compressor to install.
