sure can, if the automotive paint store has the color scanning gun....the scan the paint with the gun...then attach to the computer, the computer determines the formula. It's amazing how accurate the match is.
Any good auto paint store should be able to match your paint. They don't need a colorometer to do it (they are only about 70-75% accurate anyway). I color match samples all day long by hand.
We have a 53 chevy pickup that we bought a few years ago. The PO said it was painted with NAPA paint. Needed to paint a visor we bought for it. They mixed the paint , perfect match!!!
