If you have never felt an earthquake then you are missing out. we just had a 6.5 Quake at the coast. I am at work and was standing in the parking lot when it hit it lasted at least 15 seconds. my town is about 100 miles away form the epicenter but it still felt really cool. wow that was cool  hope no one was hurt.
I went through a 5.4 in Cubi Point, which is in Subic Bay, Phillipines and it woke me up out a drunk coma. The people in my building were screaming since we were a few stories up. Shook the whole building like I though it was going to collapse. It rolls in kind of in waves and rolls on out. Scared the SHIIITE out of me thats for sure.
Yea thats the way it felt for me, we were in the middle of a big parking lot when it hit, we all felt like we were getting dizzy or sick. then we notice the bug metal doors on the auto shop were making alot of noise. There was a truck parking there too and it was rocking back and forth pretty wierd to see everything moving. It was a pretty cool feeling. i just hope no one was hurt.
I felt a rare earthquake in Big Bend National Park. I think it was only about a 4.0. The light poles were swaying and the picnic table shook. I understand that at least two people died in the recent California quake.
