Power Steering Pump Rebuild

I need to rebuild my power steering pump. I have seen rebuilt kits in different catalogues. How much of a pain is this to do? Would you recomend having someone else rebuild it. It is the original factory pump so I want to keep it.

My rebuild took all of 20 minutes. Very easy. Got the kit from Zip.
