Edelbrock Performer #3701 is a direct replacement or #2101 (without EGR). It will work with stock spreadbore carb or squarebore carbs.

I just fitted an Edelbrock performer 2101 with a Holley on top. I had to use a Moroso 14"X3""dropdown" airfilter (2 1/2" stack height) to clear my '80 bonnet (hood, as you boys call it)

I went with the newer Performer EPS (2701). Edelbrock claims it's a better design and adds a few extra ponies. It's only 1/4" taller than the Performer. It's for square bore carbs like the Holley, so you won't need an adapter plate like you would if you wanted to mount a Holley on a Performer 2101 manifold.

I was able to run the Edelbrock Performer RPM Air-Gap under my stock 74 hood with a lo-pro air-cleaner.
