I'd say it appears to be worth something. That codes out to be a '69 Z-28 302 engine. :cheers:

What you have is a 300hp 350cid. It was from a Chevelle or El Camino.

19z321430 = 1(chevrolet) 9(1969) Z(Fremont assembly plant) 321430(VIN)
Fremont plant made Chevelle's and El Camino's

T1108HB = T(Tonawanda engine plant) 1108(November 8) HB(350/300hp)

J308 (I assume block casting date) = J(Oct.) 30(30th) 8(1968)

As you can see from the numbers the block was cast (10/30/68) about a week ahead of the engine assembly (11/8/68) which is very common. What I find uncommon is that is was from Tonawanda, most engines from this plant were big blocks and most small block I thought came from the Flint plant. A friend of mine has a Tonawanda 350 in her #'s matching Corvette and is very proud of rarity of that (I don't know why but she is).

Those are very good engines, should have 4 bolt mains, double hump heads with accesory holes and 1.94" intakes.

Hope this helps

If your thinking of selling it check out ebay. The heads should go for between $100-$300 depending on condition and how good your ad and pictures are. The block will be a tougher sell but I imagine it should go for $100-$400 again depending on condition, and if it's be bored out before. A friend of mine bought an engine just like yours from a local paper ad, he was the only caller and the seller was moving that weekend he bought it for $50 (complete engine including maifolds). So marketing is everything!!!! And it is a 1969 block so you have a desirable engine to someone restoring their 69.

JJMURFS,

You are right... I was looking at some wrong numbers. Appears to be a 350/300HP engine as you said. Block casting was the same for 302, 327 & 350 for some I noticed though.

Thankyou very much for all the informations from you all.
You are right JJMURFS about the double hump and 4 bolts. I am going to keep it b/c space is not a problem for me.Thanks again.
