Rearend Gearing..
I`ve searched the archives and found out that theres 2 types of carrier on the vettes #3 series(standard) and #4 series(HD).But what are the tallest gears you can use on the different carriers? :smash: :cheers: :cheers:

Here is a 3 series and 4 series carrier
With stock gears the 3.70 is the highest with the 3 series. Aftermarket gear manufactors have made thick ring gears for 3.90 4.10 and 4.56 gears that fit on a 3 series carrier. I ran a 4.10 gear on a 3 series with a spacer and grenaded the rear. The thick gears hold up very well. I currently run a 3.70 gear on a 3 series carrier.
