Default Stationary Headlight Conversion

I am new, thought I posted this last week??
I am should repair the sleepy headlights but wanted to ask those who have changed their lights to a stationary set up. I was looking at the latest Ferrari 360 and how the lights are projection in design. They are under glass and look great with a panel painted body color under the glass. What do you guys think? Clear headlight covers with modern lighting under them. I think it would look excellent. Doesn anyone have a conversion from the past or does everyone use the factory headlights? I am considering fixing the lights and still putting the conversion in= I do dig the flip up lights.

Welcome to the Forum. You might do a search of the archives, you have several options. Vendors (Eckler's etc.) sell fixed headlight conversion packages. The clear covers are extra. You might check with your state DOT for legality (is that a word) of the clear covers.

There are some folks that have converted the headlight vacuum motor system to electric motors.

There are instructions/kits/etc available to repair the stock vacuum motor system. (This is what I am doing to my car.)

Some of the fixed headlight conversions look better to me than others, I like the Baldwin Motion cars (I think that is the correct name).

My rough guess is that a majority of folks like the looks of the pop-up headlights over the fixed lights. In the end it is YOUR car, build it to please yourself. :)
