Found in California resting for 20 years among other cars and boats labor day last.
Loading for the ride home to Utah.
On our way through Misquete NV.
Its new home
Old engine removal
Refreshed engine install
Now after front and rear end work that includes all new bushings, shocks, springs, tires and brakes, it felt good to put about 100 miles on her just before the snow started to fall.
Next task while the roads are not drivable will be to put on the new exhaust system and new front bumper.
Thanks for the advice so far and will probably need more as time goes on.
Re: My project so far told with pictures (79Fever)
The same BB that came out went back in. Have been looking for two years for a BB, 4 speed coupe in my price range and decided it was not going to happen. So I raised the range and found this one.
Once we finaly got it started, had a bad knock and after taking it out of the car and inspecting, I was glad to have it overhauled. There was two ***** of carbon on top of #5 intake valve and all the soft plugs had gone bad.
Took the time while it was in the shop to go through just about everything in the engine compartment. Am convinced that the engineers made the body as cool as they could and then mixed up a can of engine and poured it in the only space that was left.

Nice pics bb Blue 73. Neat to see another one come back to life.
Good work. It really is nice to see one come around again. It looks to be a pretty solid car.
Edit: I just noticed that this car has AC, power windows and most bells and whistles. Nice find.

Very cool indeed. It looks like you are making good progress. I guess you have taken care of most of the mechanicals. It should be a good runner, eh? Thanks for sharing the pictures.
