Speedo Gear Headaches....
Ok folks, i figured out what else failed when my cruise xducer died... it took out the lower cable and even the speedo gear at the transmission. When I pulled the unit out of the transmission, all i had was a stub. My question is, do I have to pull the tail stock of the trans to get to the broken gear or can I be lucky enough to reach it with mechanical fingers when I drop the pan and change the filter. Or if i'm that damn good, can I get it with a dental pick and reach it through the hole where the cable goes...

Oh, I'm not that lucky....Felt up in there and it appearently has dropped way down out of the hole... :cuss I can feel the gears on the output shaft with my finger...
