Bent bar evisited...

Ok guys, I have a picture of the bar I was talking about in an earlier post. As you can see it sits in front of the radiator support and is welded to a larger triangular shaped structure. I'm guessing it forms some kind of front end/nose reinforcement piece. It has a bend in it towards the front of the car. You can see the bend in it just under the headlight vacuum relay.

what about it? Its just a support bar for the rad support.

I don't think so. The radiator support is behind this and doesn't connect to it at all.

That's your front frame extension crossbar that's pretty banged up.

Oh yea, why are your headlight vacuum switches just lying there????

That's what it looks like, the frame extension crossbar. My guess is that it was used to tow/pull the car, or maybe it was used as a hooking point for a frame straightener . . . only speculating here.

Well, she's a work in progress. And also, the bolts holes don't line up with the holes under front edge of the hood. Not sure if that's where they are supposed to go or not. They were laying in the same place when I bought her.
