OEM Part Number
Can anyone here provide me with a GM part number for wiper blades for a 72. I have tried several and they sit to high and will not allow the cover to sit flat. I also need to know if the pegs on the wiper arms are opposed of one another. I'm not sure if this is a Bubba thing. Thanks :cheers:

I can't help you with a current part number but the on the arms should be opposite each other. When the blades are in the parked position the left blade pin should point up and the right blade pin should point down.

I have an original GM Corvette parts book for the 1953-82 cars. Here is the GM number for the the wipers
1664394 is for the blades
14029850 is for the wiper refills for the blades
I don't know if the numbers are still good or if they have been superseded. A GM dealer can tell you.

I doubt that GM still has correct arms for your car. You might end up looking for good used ones at Corvette parts dealers, swap meets, etc.
I tried several styles on my 69, and had the same closure problem until I got hold of a pair of originals. They're very thin and "low profile". Chuck
