In 2004 I Resolve to...
...drive my Corvette more. The darn thing sits too much. Life gets in the way of fun. All the Best to All: 2003 was a fun year. Have a great 2004!

The years have not been kind to some of us,
2000 - Lost my Engineering Career to a bad heart, gained an implanted defibrillator
2001 - Lost my Mom and one Brother
2002 - Wife came down with Cancer
2003 - Lost my Wife and last Brother to Cancer
2004 - Time heals all wounds and I have 11 and 15 year old boys to raise now. Sometimes we just have to be thankful for what we have and not dwell on what we have lost. This year, I resolve to forge on and live every moment on this earth, from now on, like it was my last. To be the best Dad (and Mom when I have to be) that I can be.
Who knows, maybe this will be the year that I finally get to drive my Vette again. Happy New Year to all and remember to cherish the ones that are special in your life.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts. It was not my intention to 'bum' anyout out but just the opposite. I'm sure that past years have brought pain and hardships to many, but if I can go on and make 2004 a great year, then no matter what lies in your past, you can do the same.

I got my New Year's resolution out of the way early and hit my goal on January 1st. (My husband says I'm always taking care of things before they need to be done. I can't help it) I started dieting in August so that by January 1st, my weight is where it should be. It seemed like it took forever to come off, but I'm there! Hit the stores the day after Christmas and bought clothes that fit me!
One other goal is to find a new job where my education and experience are compensated and respected. I've worked 10 years for the same company. They squeeze as much work out of me as they can in a day, pile more responsibility on me and haven't given me a raise in 3 years. It's time to move on to something better. I hope the economy improves because the job market right now sucks big time. :cry

get tranny to stop slipping or change to 4 speed
