I hope i won't be looked at as a trader  I have always been a c3 guy but i have come across the opportunity to buy a 64 fuelie coupe. My brother has a 64 vert that i like to drive. So when this car came along i figured what the heck, it will be a good investment car, and i will be able to have some fun.
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (corvetteworks)
Go for it!!!!! I had a 75 , but wanted a mid year, so I found my 65 years ago, but I missed the feel and ride of the c3 so here I am with an 80 also. Good luck.
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (corvetteworks)
They're crude, uncomfortable, parts are expensive, hard to steer, ride is terrible and they smell of gas all the time. In other words, as a true Corvette enthusiast you'll love it! No regrets on my purchase last spring.

I thought mine was the only one like that.
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (corvetteworks)
If you drive it and enjoy it go for it. If you buy it and store it away Don't buy it. Much easier to make money elsewhere with out the hassel of ownership
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (paul67)
Yep, this car will be for investment. I had intended to drive it, but since i posted it in the mid year discussion area i have been offered a bunch more money than i was going to pay.
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (Paul Borowski)
Groovyjay, i have dug up a bunch of midyear project cars lately. I passed on them because i was looking for something interesting i could make money with, like the 64 fuelie car. Let me know what your are hunting for. I may be able to help you.
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (corvetteworks)
Scott,
I wish you well with that project. Sincerely. You are a braver man than me to get involved with a car in that condition at that price. You are in the Corvette business and I must assume that all numbers have been validated....Hope things turn out well for you.
Re: I am thinking about buying a mid year!! (paul67)
I am in the process of validating numbers right now. It is not going well. I am starting to question wether this is a real fuel car :skep: Either way at the price i am paying i will still buy it. Realize that the car will not look that way when i pick it up. It will have a completly refinshed body with nice paint. I would not buy it the way it sits. Fiberglass work and me don't get along well :skep:
