Kano Kroil vs: PB Blaster
I've got a couple of ugly jobs on my C3 coming up.
Seems like one post I hear PBBlaster is the only way to go, and then I read another that KK is the "best".
Opinions?, especially if you've used them both!
Thanks!!!

Re: Kano Kroil vs: PB Blaster (Bill Oxley)
I've used both. PB Blaster works good, but Kroil is the best
Bolts that looked bad enough to snap off were able to be turned off when I used Kroil.
Just make sure you soak it and let it sit for a while.
:seeya Jeff
ps. Co-worker was in the Navy. He said they had 55 gal drums of Kroil for use on the ship. If it passes for the military.....

I agree with all the above. If kroil doesn't free the threads nothing will, get out your sawzall. My dads been using the stuff for years, he found it while working in the oil field. I prefer the aero version of the formula over the sili, but both work great.

Wher can you get Kroil? I have only seen it online and the cost to ship 1 or 2 cans don't make sense. Any suggestions?

The company sells directly to their consumers only. How much are they asking for it, total?

Silicroil has never let me down. The stuff will even attack rust in an upwards condition. The only way to get it is direct from Kano Labs as far as I know.

Re: Kano Kroil vs: PB Blaster (Bill Oxley)
KROIL HANDS DOWN! :smash:
NOTHING Beats it, I have a 22 year history with the evil smelling stuff and i virtually remove NOTHING without spray it first.
I have recommended it on this and other forums for years now.
I have used it on cars, bikes, tractors and even yes.....US NAVY Submarines.
KANO sells direct, I even inquired on a "Dealership" 20 years ago and no go.
BUT......EASTWOOD sells the large can now at a fair price.
Regards......Cholo

Bill:
I have worked for a major airline for over thirty years and Kroil is the only penetrant product we have ever used. It works great.

You can find it in Sporting goods stores and Gun shops. We use it in our business of ballistic testing to clean out moly buildup from bullets....Also available from a company called Brownell's.....$7.97 a can

Also, if you are using kroil, you don't have to use nearly as much as you would PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench.
