Help me choose a new battery!
Yes, I made a mistake. I bought a cheapo WalMart battery. This thing sucks.
I need a battery to start my warmed over 350.

I had a couple WalMart batteries that did not last through2 years. Replaced under warranty, and current one is doing fine for over 2 years now.
Saw Sam's sells Optima batteries. Did not check out price.

Costco has 3 year free replacement batteries :D
How can you go wrong ? Under 50 bucks :thumbs:
If it lasts, bring it back before 36 months, and tell them
it's dead, and they'll replace it for free - no questions asked.

Got me a red top from Autozone for $109. It has 800 CCA, and appears to be holding out well with the new electronics.

Went with an Optima last time for my Mustang also. Lack of use kept killing the other batteries durring the winters.
This one is in for 4+ years now

I bought the 9022-091 Red Top in Nov.
Caught it on sale at $99 + $8.25 shipping.

I just went to Autozone and they looked up one for my 71. I asked what the CCA was on it and he said something like 720. So I asked him what they had that was bigger, and he came out with one at 800. So I bought that one. It can be replaced at autozone anywhere, and has like a 2-3 year warrenty. Best 109 I spent in a while. It had more than enough juice to crank over my engine for almost 30 minutes before I could get it to start.
