...gotta agree. Just pulled my old calipers off last week, and those nuts WANTED to round off pretty badly...I "just said NO" to Bubba and ran to the auto parts place, grabbed a three-pack of double ended flare nut wrenches that contained the sizes I needed for $12.00, and they came off slicker'n snot in 60 seconds with no trace of damage. A perfect example of having the right tool saving endless trouble.

i don't get the "blowin line off" my self, if flair wrenches start to slip i cut the flex line and use a socket to save the hard line,,, i have heated to help loosen
the 2 steel fittings but not enough to blow, or catch on fire i allways figure
if fittings that bad the flex line's will go next, and they normally do
