how do you put in a shifter cable
well it looks like my shifter cable has busted and i am in need of a new one
how hard is this to do and what are the tricks for doing it

Not that hard.. have to pop your console off is the worst part. One you get it off and out of the way it is gravy. Not sure if you could come in from the side.. didn't check the clearance before I disassembled it all but it is just a clip and the shifter, a c clip on the cable housing and three bolts on a bulkhead fitting. Downstairs is about the same, c clip on the cable housing and a spring clip on the cable itself connected to the tranny.
