What's so great about that car? I'd have to remove the flares if I bought it. That alone warrants a $150K discount :D

I think it was olivier (GSC3) that posted the link, if not he'll probably know where it is since I think I remember he posted it on the German CorvetteForum.

Sorry, but the looks of those flares are WAY too much.
What's it got that makes it worth over 200k bux ? (I can't read German).

BTW they say it does 3.7 secs from 0-100Km/h (62Mph) on their website and 3.5 secs on the Ebay. Top speed on their site is 320Kmh and 330Kmh on Ebay. On Ebay the car is claimed to have 600Hp and on their site it says 550Hp... :skep: :skep: :skep:

Satellite detection system in series - perfect theft safety device with all Kubetschek Corvettes.

Complete leather interior equipment Complete adapted high-grade steel exhaust system All hoses and adapters from the aviation technology. Full restoration of all basic metal parts and refinement with most modern techniques Each technical change is tueveingetragen, with the proof of production - Manfred Kubetschek Nuernberg.

Jay, some of your translation is not quite correct,
It says:

Technical improvements:
Wilwood Racing Brake system
Specially crafted suspension system, by kubecheck. Suspension completely overhauled and partially improved with in house developed constructions, this so the new level of performance is quite driveable and streetable. Especially the rear axle has been thoroughly altered.

Independent cooling for engine, tranny & diff

Complete electronics redone, based on new concept of simple plug connectors and centralisation of fuses & relays in an easy to access location

Then indeed the sattelite tracking security system blah blah

Complete leather interior

Complete stainless steel exhaust system

Hoses & fittings from aircraft technology (AN fittings & braided hoses)

Compelte restauration of all load carrying metal structured (i.e. frame and such) and corrosion protection/galvanisation based on modern techniques (just galvanizing)

All technical alterations have been TUB approved and documented with manufacturer data (technical drawings, info.. stuff required by German TUV, something like DOT)

That's about it.
