Found build sheet!
Yup...
Dropped the spare carrier and found a build sheet just laying on the gas tank!
Unfortunetly its a very dusty... caked on gravel dirt road grime! Not legible in the smallest... but I found it!
Didnt even have to pull the tank to unstick it, Musta left it on until the prime! :jester

When I dropped the tank and shield on my '75 a month ago I found nothing, not even a trace of where it might have been either. :nonod:

Found mine like that way too but in pieces. I can see some writing though and may try to clean it up when posssible. :yesnod:

I've looked all over for the one on my 69. It would be great to have something that proved it was an original 427/435hp. Never dropped the tank, but I've dropped the carrier and looked up and down w/ mirrors and lights. Could be somewhere on top, but I think it's long gone.
