It's a 73, and it looks like it's sitting stable and even, and I'm assuming everything works and the interior isn't trashed. I'd rate it as a 7 or 7.5. The pictures arn't all that good. You need to look at the frame and windshield surround for rust.

That's really hard to do by just looking at a few pictures (low res pictures at that!) From what you can see it looks OK, but it could be rotten to the core underneath the body.
You really ought to ask someone here on the forum to go and check it out.
Remember a gold plated turd looks just like a nugget! :D

Looks like a nice clean driver, but its hard to tell from those few pics. As per other replies you really need to check out the frame. Brakes, tires, suspension, interior are all pretty simple to fix, but a rotten frame can be major headaches. Paint is very expensive also but this one looks good.
Good luck.

:iagree: If what you can't see is as nice as what you can (kinda) see then it would be OK. You really need to know about frame, rear body mount, and birdcage rust. Also condition of brakes, suspension, bushings, etc. Proceed with caution

:iagree: If all else checks out ok, but I also want a 73. Would be interested in what reciepts are for also. Good luck

Yeh, I would probably rate it just by the pics and short description a 7 to 7.5 as well. (definately the seller needs more pics and a bit better resolution and really needs to go into a bit more detail about the car, but maybe what he got was all he could for space available on his ad.) His # is there, give him a call to get more info out of him. I picked up my 73 for 7500$ as well but from the looks of just what he's got, it is in a bit better shape than mine was. Mine still needs AC & the chrome exhaust bezels..also the factory alarm system is no where to be found on mine, not even the key lock for it. I also had to add the corvette letters on the rear myself. I could already write a book. If you feel froggy and like doing relatively minor wrench turning, (brake work, installing headers, replacing things that go out over time & such) AND having it as a possible daily driver take a shot at it. Or keep looking, you might find one closer too you. Good Luck.

Find out where it is located, I am going to Toledo tomorrow and might be able to swing by for a look if it is not too far out of my way.

Must be an unlisted or cell # since I can't find it using rev look up.
