Don stopped by to appraise my 68 for my insurance company. Just wanted to share. Not a Vette but you can't help but appreciate this beauty. 57 T-Bird, 291, 3spd. with functional hood scoop. Engine dead stock and pretty, trunk big enough to sleep in.
The original owner of it 'Patty" had owned it since new and traded her forst car a 54 Frod sedan in for the T-bird and she drove it daily from her home to the Disney studios where she worked for 35 years. WHen she passed it away her son contacted the Peterson Auto museum to donate it but when Don went to appraise it and told them Peterson would probably sell it they withdrew the offer and donated it to Don whom ownes close to 150 cars just like this. I love going over to his ranch this weekend, it's great to see all these pristine cars.
Well anyway it looks like I'll get a 20K appraisal as I had hoped and here is my Vette photo so I can't get blamed for Ford pics (OT) in the C3 general discussion forum. :jester :hurray: :hurray:
There was a show on speed channel today about t birds. I love how they came out with the continental spare due to not being able to fit 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk without it. :jester
