Semi-coilover front suspension
I have been talking with Dan at Van Steel about combining the semi-coilover into the the VBP performance plus suspension kit thus deleting the front monspring. The big problem is I can't find anyone else that makes tubular A-arms for us to replace stock A-arms to use with the semi-coilover. So to get stronger, lighter A-arms you're stuck with VBP kits. If I did the entire performance plus kit, I would substitute QA-1 front and rears and of course the coil-over. I'm starting with a totally stock suspension so I have a long way to go. I am also thinking of just doing the front with semi-coilover/VBP boxed tubed control arms and waiting to see how their 5-bar rear setup w/coilovers comes out. This will be much like the Guldstrand setup which reduces camber and toe changes and has much better anti-dive and anti-squat capabilities and will get rid of the transferse hitting my tires. Comments???

Dang - no comments? I swear I showered today. Let's try again. I'm hoping to do a group purchase of the front semi-coilover with VBP A-arms. Van Steel said they would do this and grind off the transverse spring attachment on the lower A-arm and powder coat. Anybody interested or have any comments?

Price quote for the Performance plus suspension with the semi coilover replacing the front transverse spring and QA1 adjustable shocks in the rear was in the mid $2200 range.
