1. Take the wheels off,
2. Get yourself a couple of buffing wheels, the kind that you use in a drill chuck(got mine from Harbor freight-$7.99=4pk)
3. Apply the Mothers Mag and wheel compound to the wheel, maybe just 1/4 of it
4. Buff it with the drill. Just don't let the paste dry out to much while buffing cuz it loads up the buffing wheel.
Did both rear wheels today. Mirror finish!!!
GSC3 had a post a few weeks back that he used Blue Magic. I have used it on my wheels as well with great results... Works really well. If the shine starts to go away after while, simply spray it with windex and it comes back
Previous postings assume that (usually yellowing) clear coat has been removed and that you are just cleaning bare aluminum. It will not shine without clear coat removal. If you need to remove clear coat, take wheels off and use very fine steel wool. Takes about 30-45 minutes/wheel. Then use Mothers Alum etc. with polishers to shine and maintain Good luck.
