Same color car and as interior?

Same color car and as interior?
I'm just curious how many guys like or dislike the same color car as interior? For instance LeMans Blue w/ Blue interior, or Rally Red w/ red interior. I think Black on Black doesn't really count because black is so common where as blue, red, and green interior is not. Some people I talk to say "It's too much to have matching colors". I currently have '68 Red w/ red interior and "Thinking" about painting the car black to break up the colors.

I kinda like the matching colors. But really do like the look of a black car with a red interior. I don't know that I have seen a chrome bumper car that is that combo. It should look really good IMO.

I have silver with grey interior. After 130K miles on the carpet, they are starting to get dirty and often thing about a black carpet. Still have the grey leather seats, etc. Just black carpet.

Didn`t GM offer a roadster with a Yellow interior around 1996 with some flags or stripes on a maroon colored body? I think it also had yellow wheels. Horrible combination. :lol:

A guy in our club has one of these 98 pace cars. I like it. Definitely different and an eye catcher.

Fevre, No but this would be 98Pace97Coupe sig. Good guy and very active corvette guy that never lets it set. Rain or shine. Pace car has been there.

I voted for matching, but not for black exterior. I personally prefer any non-black interior over black. It really helps the console, shifter plate, gauge bezels, and other interior trim stand out if the interior color is not black.
Then again, my car has a black interior. I like the look of silver/red, silver/gray, red/tan, red/red, blue/blue, green/green, green/tan, gold/tan, etc. much better than any of them with black interior.

I love the matching interior/exterior cars, my '68 is blue/blue. I don't really think the red interior looks good with anything other than a red exterior. If you paint the car black, it will look much better with a black interior.

I think white goes with most exterior colors, but everyone knows the drawback of owning anything thats white. Off whie isnt a bad choice either. I dont like matching interor/exterior because ALL ricers do it.
