Looks like the Chevy's took the show......All five top money positions.
I sure would have been a bidder on that yellow 63 Split Window Pro Street....
If I was there it would have been mine. :banghead:
Too bad I have to go to work tonight. Plus I gotta get out in the garage and put the dash back together.
Thanks for the heads up. I will watch it for a little while anyway.
If it's like last year, they will be repeating the broadcast many times over the next couple months. Keep an eye on your programming guide for the repeats.
And, Saturday from 3pm to 9 pm is another 6 hours if your available then.
Re: Barrett-Jackson on Speed now! (8T1-7T9 BIONIC VETTE)
my first vette was a ringer for the 67435 except a coupe, oh well i enjoyed it when i had it and drove it like i stole it, oh i did, only cost me $2200.oo  ah for the good ole days when cars like that were a dime a dozen
That 67 435 ragtop was sweet, but $135K plus 8% is just under $146K seems a bit too rich in my opinion. What about the 1969 Camaro that fetched $112K. This guy paid $100K for a '54 vette as well - Oh to have a bit of cash!
I went to the auction on Thurs. Two words to describe it- awesome and overwhelming! So many cars to look at; such few dollars!
You do see things on tv that you wouldn't at the auction. For example- the Barrett Jackson Reps standing next to bidders as they outbid one another. I only saw that on tv but not when I was there since we had to stand way in the back.
It's well worth going for $20.... we spent four hours there. (and 2.5 hours at home on Speedvision that night!)
