Need carburetor help!!
I went to start the '69 tonite after a several month period of just sitting (I know, I know, I should have been starting it periodically, but for one reason or another I was unable to) and when I try to start it, gas runs out of the vent tube(?) on the front bowl.See pic:
So I'm guessing the float is stuck; if that is it, how do I unstick it? If that's not it, what is the problem?

disconnect your fuel line and plug it. start the engine and run the carb dry,take a air hose and blow thru the fitting where the hose fits. use about 25-30 PSI. do you have a filter in the float bowl because i have seen pieces of the rubber fuel line come loose and cause this problem :chevy
