Where have you guys mounted your ignition boxes???
Engine compartment? Interior firewall? In front of the radiator? Pics would be great. I've also heard that it is best to mount them in a place with some decent airflow to help keep it cool. Is this true
Thanks

Due to personal experience, I wouldn't mount it anywhere in the engine bay. My 6A WAS mounted right behind the side gill opening and it literally melted. IF you MUST have one, I'd mount it either out front by the radiator or under the dash.
Personally, I'll never have another one ... very little bang for the buck.

Inside and way down on the passenger side wheel well. (You can see it from the rear of the car if you look through the wheel vent.) No problems and it was easy to draw power from the starter, which is the next best thing to a direct battery connection.

Drivers side wheelwell below the vacuum canister.
See the two step rev limiter? Just to the right of that...
Not to hijack the thread here, but did you make that steering joint system yourself? If so, do you mind emailing me info on it? I'm in a pickle with my steeroids setup, if I could adapt something like that, that might help me.
My 6AL box is mounted inside the passenger fender well just forward of the gill.
