Well after having some issues with my car for the last few months, i stepped away from it and decided not to bother with it until my nerves were calm once again so I went back to work, fixed the fuel issues and a couple other things and I finally started her up tonight. One of neighbours came out after he heard it and seemed to enjoy the loud sound. The walls were shaking in my garage and it was rather pleasant :reddevil. Only issue now is the right blinker doesn't flash so I'll have to figure out what's up with that but that's a small issue. I'm so excited, I can't even describe it.
Not sure about the blinker. On Fords, that is a sure sign that the bulb is out, but on my Vette, most non-blinking blinker problems have been due to a bad ground.
Sounds like our cars have similar histories. My father was the original owner of my car and eventually it just kinda sat around for years without getting driven or anything, needless to say when a car sits that long, nothing good can come of it. Now I'm slowly building the car back up to good condition. It's drivable which is good, I'm not sure how reliable it is since I haven't gone anywhere in the car really in about a year or so but everything as far as the motor goes seems all be in good working condition. When I'm out of college, I'd like to do a full ground up restoration on the car, powder coat the headers, frame etc. and go from there. It'd be nice to have a new looking vette again. :seeya
