I bought a center Grille for my car a while back. Now that I live in West-by-god, I don't need a front plate. I didn't see an option to buy a bracket for this thing. How does it attach? Pictures would be worth 1000 words.
Re: How does the center Grille attach? (wombvette)
there are brackets. if you don't have it, it would be easy to fab up. I have been considering making brackets that would protrude further out in order to make the center grill flush with the outer grills on my 70. still not sure how it would look though

I looked on both Zip and Eckler's sites and neither list a center support bracket. There is one for a 70-72 though. I'm wondering, is it possible that on a 69 the center grill brackets are integrated with the inner grill support brackets? http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?d...RKCCNX6QDN6QLC
That would make some degree of sense, because it looks like my grill brackets look like they came from the bubba catalog.

You got me curious, so I looked around, and the Doc's (Rebuild) catalog has the following: "68-69 Grill Mounting Brackets: Includes LH & RH inner brackets used to mount the center grill to the LH & RH grills. "
Just putting the grille back together in my 69.
There are 2 center brackets that bolt to the lower valance and to the inner headlight supports on each side.
On these brackets are the mounting locations to hold the center grille in place.
