Well guys...it's about time I posted pics of all the work I've been doing on the 72 for the past year. Car was stripped and painted by an retired GM body man. He went the extra mile to paint the inside of the doors, hood, T-Tops and wiper valley the correct black. I helped and learned along the way. All dis-assembly was done by me, as well as the current systems restore and assembly. Here ya go... Dial up beware...these are big digital pics. http://members.aol.com/xxgrave/
Special thanks goes out to David and Milan...88Cubka...for their efforts in hosting these pics for me. You guys are the greatest...
Nice - particularly like the restored shot of the back end.
I see you share the Earnhardt obsession that my wife has.
She can't do math, as she only knows two numbers - 3 and 8.

That's my painters garage. Him and his wife are major Nascar fans. He has a big screen TV in the garage that he watches all the races on while working on cars. The garage is a 3 car 1 1/2 story workshop!!!

Me too and it's awash in a sea of red paint dust, even with shop-vacking every 30 min or so. I'm sanding, not chem stripping. My car has only one paint job on it right now and I did it so I know exactly what is underneath. Spent too much time getting the bonding seams perfect last time to risk screwing them up with stripper. :cuss

OH man... my beast had 4 coats of crud to remove, and it took a week of sanding to make it flat, and for those seams to dissappear. When his arm fell off from sanding, I picked it up and kept going. Cost me two cases of beer the first week to keep him working.
