Default will headers fit a '76

Looking to buy a set of heddman headers and was wondering if there
were any problems with fit encountered by '76 forum members? There was
a note on the heddman wib site about headers not fitting if there was a steering damper on the inside of frame.
thanx for any help

I've heard of people having to slightly dent one of the tubes to get Headmans to fit our C3's.
My Dynomax on the otherhand fit perfectly without any mods.

If it's not an emissions setup, then get Dynomax Cerma Coat- flow & fit great.

The headers on my '76 fit fine. (Very) small dent next to the idler arm is all it took and it may not even have been necessary in retrospect. :hat
