Default Looking for advice on Heads..

After much thought I think I will replace the heads (forgo the timeing gear and under pully), I will have to admit this is uncharted territory for me. I want something that will give me decent power but not mind hiway driving. I have automatic transmission with a shift kit and stock rear end. I would rather not change the rear end just yet if I don't have to. If anyone could give me some insite on what different setups might do I would be in your debt.

I have the cam and the rest figured out, thanks.

Sportsman II heads are very good and not as expensive as aluminum, I got some serious power out of them :D

I'm using Dart Iron Eagle 180 heads. I'm told there's not much difference between these and World's. Not knowing what cam you've decided upon, I can't comment on what size you really need. Anyway, the Darts I bought were already assembled and have stainless valves. These are available at either Summit or Jeggs. While you're at it, you might want to upgrade your intake. The guys at Summit or Jeggs will be glad to give advise on matching your heads, intake and cam for you. However, these are not smog heads and might be a problem if you're wanting to keep your smog stuff.

Ditto on the Dart Iron Eagles!

I run the 72cc chamber, 200cc runner heads myself and love 'em

170-180 would be very good for your setup.
