Default ZZ4 Install

I am in the process of installing a ZZ4 Crate Engine in my 73. I plan on installing the stock cowl induction air cleaner with the stock hood, can anyone tell me if I will have clearance problems with this set up? :banghead:

I've got a ZZ4 in my stock 69 and the stock aircleaner fits fine under the SB hood. The only advice I can give is install the ZZ4 and trial fit the air cleaner and hood.
I have an L88 hood, Air cleaner and box, that I have mocked up on the car, it fits perfectly on top of the ZZ4 manifold and either a Qjet or a Holley.

I am in the process of doing a frame off restoration on my 73 so far I have had the frame blasted and painted, installed front and rear suspension, zz4 motor & TH400 transmission installed, have quite a bit of work to do on the body before I drop it back on the frame. I have the original motor on a stand thought the ZZ4 would be nice change. I had the ZZ4 in my 77 at one time and I had to use an aftermarket air cleaner due to clearance problems. I beleive the 73 hood may have enough clearance will let you know but it may be a while. The ZZ4 is a sweet engine. :steering:
