Customer Service RANT
You know, IÂ’m about completely at my wits end with **** poor customer service in the Corvette Vendor / Used Parts market.
Vendors: Take Note
If I hear one more time “Well that’s what my computer screen says” I’m going to reach through the phone and put a 3000psi grip around that “Rice driving, 20 something, know nothings” neck. I’m spending BIG BUCKS (over 15K) to restore this car, or should I just say I have several thousand dollars to spend today could I talk to someone who has actually knows what a Corvette looks like.
Used Parts People: Take Note
If you say you have a part for sale, by all means tell me your asking price. If fair, I will buy it. I’m feed up with the “What’s it worth to you” or “ well, I have a couple of other people interested”. If I wanted to play 20 questions with you I would have went to Ebay.
Everyone Else: Take Note
If buy the off chance you run across one of my many request for parts, please donÂ’t waist your time or mine by telling me you have the part but itÂ’s not for sale. Shezz, get real people.

Yeah...I'm in your corner Mr. D. I've had my share of dealing with a-holes too. Because of my honesty and trust....got ripped off too. What especially frosts my behind is the seller/vendor who takes his sweet time shipping after you've paid with a certified check. Lack of promp shipping, and the uncertainty of parts in stock/on hand have delayed my project by months.
Oh well....such is life as a restorer.

i ordered a fuel sender from a unamed vender that starts with eckle* and whoever was on the other end told me that the fuel sender they had was the very last one, which i believe since everyone else was out of them...mid america...corvettes of houston etc. they told me someone had taken the gasket that comes with it out so I would have to purchase a gasket. $4.99 i think the gasket was but still :bs :bs :bs
